About the Role

The Senior Engineer will be responsible for developing technical solutions for the performance of rotating equipment of different clients, companies, and industries, using the knowledge of the segment with a good selection of bearings, advice on the application, and failure analysis through bearing calculations and evaluation of the condition of the machine using reliability engineering and overhaul.

Manage and develop engineering projects focused on customer requirements and asset performance concepts.

Update and publish promotional material and application-oriented technical presentations.

Conduct technical presentations, training, and seminars for customers and internal colleagues.

Organizes and participates in exhibitions and conferences of the segment when necessary.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in industrial applications for metal industries or the mining segments.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of general industrial applications and experience in rotating equipment within engineering with a strong working knowledge of compressors, fans, electric motors, gearboxes, pumps, or generators.
• Robust mechanical design skills and finite element analysis using computational tools such as Ansys, Solidworks, or Inventor.
• Proficient in root cause analysis techniques.
• Have stellar Agile project management skills and have successfully driven projects forward on time.
• Professional skills are essential to developing a job, but personality and personal qualities are what recognize a person as having self-motivation, innovation, customer orientation, good communication and interpersonal skills, and a great teamwork spirit. Work in a cross-functional and highly organized work style.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level.
• Willingness to travel within and outside the country.
